Harvest Party!!!
Santropol Roulant, Alternatives and the Minimum Cost Housing Group of
McGill University's School of Architecture are pleased to invite you to
their annual Harvest Party in the lovely Edible Campus Garden (located
near Burnside Hall on McGill campus)! This year's event will take place
Thursday September 10th, 2009 between 5pm and 10 pm. Join staff,
volunteers, clients, friends, and family for a festive farewell to
summer by enjoying freshly made vegetable stew and local organic corn on
the cob. Come celebrate the abundance of the garden one last time before
the beauty of autumn sets in.

Please join us from 5-10pm as we host our annual Birthday Party in the Garden. The Roulant turns 14 and we want to celebrate in style! There will be some food, a live band, and information from the noon-hour announcement if you weren't able to make it to the event. This will be a great time to check out the garden as well, if you haven't had a chance to do that yet.

The Rooftop Garden Project team is proud to present the pedagogical guide Roots Around the World. Through a series of practical, critical and creative educational activities, it allows students in the three cycles of primary school to discover and reflect upon what is at stake in urban agriculture. Beautifully illustrated, this guide will take you from the fridge to the garden, from local action to global thinking.
